The Story Behind the Design
The inspiration for this jewelry set comes from a Victorian-era skull badge that the designer found at a flea market under London's Tower Bridge. The skull on the badge wears a broken crown, and the enamel on the edges is worn and flaking, yet the former intricacy is still visible. The designer was struck by this contradictory sense of 'death and power'.
