The Story Behind the Design
This gemstone set was inspired by the designer's trip to Iceland. On the black sand beach of Vik, he encountered the Atlantic Ocean, dyed a mint blue by glacial meltwater. Amidst the surging waves, he glimpsed Arctic willowherb blooming on the distant tundra, its pinkish-purple flowers swaying gently in the cold wind.
These two extreme colors collided in his mind, and he decided to capture this polar romance. The designer chose oval-shaped aquamarine and pink morganite, replicating the gentle contours of the sea and the flower clusters. A minimalist silver setting preserves the gemstones' inherent clarity, as if wearing the Icelandic sea breeze and blooming season.
